J is for Jade

So this week we hit up Jade bar in Hayes Valley. This was a cool bar and we all got to know each other a little bit better due to the size of the place. I hear the best feature of Jade was the one way mirror in the men’s room which looked out onto the bar. Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to see this, but it did lead to the quote of the evening…”You have to take me in there so I can check it out.” All the regulars showed up and even some first timers. I gave away another 20 cards (well, I should say Matt did). All in all, it was a fun night and a couple of us didn’t get enough and moved on to Comet Club for some dancing (which unfortunately included some “ho down” moves). OK folks...we are hitting J Bar tomorrow January 16! 7:30...grab your friends and get there...this is a new one for me and hopefully for a bunch of you -- we hear it is a great happy hour place...so lets get happy (by throwing back a few) ...see you then

I was for Irish Bank

So the loyal Alphabarians made it out...I was even touched to see Andy without his "wife" Sabrina....Scott and Cat who have both been to every event even made it out. We started a little earlier than normal but still had a solid crew of about 40 people to drink a few beers and get a little silly. 2 weeks we are are J Bar...time to kick it into high gear. So you know the "L" bar will fall thr night before Valentines day...so go ahead and mark your calendars, we'll be having a special event that should get a little silly...will it be tarts and vicars? lingerie party? lovin' at the lusty lady party? who knows but I am sure it will be fun. Ok Guys and Gals...we are hitting up Irish Bank tonight (downtown)....we are heading there at 5:30 we thought people working downtown might want a reason to leave their desks a little early...get there when you can, we'll leave the light on for you...we'll be there late.

H was for Horeshoe

The Horseshoe was outta control PACKED...it must be that last wednesday before everyone left town to make SF a ghost town...but we pulled a serious crowd, there was standing room only...and when i mean standing room you had to stand on the pool tables if you wanted in. Everyone was in holiday spirit and certainly rang up nice bar tabs. Looking forward to "I" bar on Jan 2!

"G"eeezzzz I Slacked

Sorry guys and gals...super busy time at work. G Bar at greens was pretty fun...I got there and only Jeremiah and Charles were sitting at the bar...but within an hour...everyone sacked up and hit Greens and we had our usual crowd of about 70 people. Of course some new faces emerged--as well as the tried and true loyal Alphabarians.....
